You desire to position yourself as an expert in branding and packaging design, rather than just another designer.
You're excited about projects that allow you to go beyond a logo and into strategic, world building.
You want to increase income without having to take on endless low-paying projects.
You want to earn more money with fewer juicier projects instead of many tiny projects.
When you join you'll be confident booking high-value root-shaking product based projects, without the fear, fast.
There's not many things I don't know when it comes to packaging.
My first ever role in 2012 was at a luxury packaging manufacturer. I then worked agency side til 2018, when I then founded Our Kind.
I now work 1:1 with motivated and bold startups or established brands who are on a mission to realise revolutionary, out of the ordinary brands that stand out in the sea of same.
I’ve built a highly profitable business using the power of product, positioning, and brand, serving cpg brands globally, from my spare room.
Now I’m going to help you pursue the same.
★ A clear, streamlined way to move from lower-ticket design work to premium branding and packaging projects.
★ You don’t want to feel like you're drowning in deliverables; you want meaningful work that excites you.
★ You want to attract the right clients who respect your expertise and are happy to invest.
★ You want to create more impactful work, co-creating with brands who understand how powerful products can be to help people live well every day.
★ You've mastered the 1,2,3k branding project, but you want more. You struggle to confidently charge high-ticket prices and don’t know how to justify premium rates.
★You don’t want to keep working with small-budget clients, but you're don’t have the skills or conviction to attract bigger ones. (yet!)
★ You feel like you’re “just another designer” and lack the unique positioning to stand out.
★ When a product based business does come your way, you panic or price too low because you're not confident in the process (and a little fearful.)
A potential client reaches out asking if you can design their brand and packaging, but instead of confidently saying yes, you hesitate, you're worried you’ll mess it up and you lack the right knowledge.

Not at all! Some students have packaging experience and are here to refine their process and learn from an expert, whereas some students are totally new to packaging. As long as you have brand and graphic design experience, that’s all you need.
No, you can open any module at any time and you do not have to pass a module to move on.
Live calls only happen with the 1-1 Mentorship route. Choose this route if you're looking for more help with building your studio from someone who's done it.
Self study means you'll be diving into the content at your leisure, at your own pace and without support from me or the community.
The group course means you'll consume the content at your leisure *and* then you'll also have ongoing support from me and the cohort community, where you can ask questions and submit your tasks for a personalised review. The group phase will go live in January to allow you time to watch the videos and come prepared with the tasks and questions.
I don’t because the focus of the course is designing brands with a product at the center annnnd I do not believe that designers need to be involved this. Packaging design is so much more than dieline creation and my method doesn't require you to get caught in the weeds with this.
Absolutely, the majority of students are US based and whilst I teach UK / EU regs I also share info for US, UK, AUS, NZ, SA, CA too. I have students from all over the world. Also note that this topic is one very small piece of the course, that covers way more overall.
Videos vary from 7 minutes to 20. On average each module totals, 60-90 minute viewing time. I recommend watching 1 module per week but most students prefer to dip in and out, and watch the content at times when they need specific help.
Yes! Provided you've worked on branding and design in the past and are familiar with Illustrator. I wouldn't recommend this for total graphic design beginners however; you need some basics.
Course content will be available for 6 months, after which time you’ll be able to reenrol for a continued, small monthly fee. Please email me for details on this.
